The Supreme Court announced on Monday it will not reconsider its ruling on same sex marriage. Former Kentucky County clerk Kim Davis had appealed the court’s 2015 ruling that the 14th Amendment guarantees same-sex couples the right to marry, effectively legalizing same-sex marriage at the federal level. Davis stopped issuing marriage licenses in the wake of this 2015 decision and was sued by David Moore and David Ermold, a couple she refused to issue a license for. The courts sided with the coup
